• 2019 “Looking to the Future” Community Survey
  • In mid-September 2019 the City of Robins mailed a questionnaire to every household in the city requesting input on current community concerns as well as to how the city should develop in the future. The results of this survey have and will continue to shape the growth of the city.
• Future Land Use Map
  • The Future Land Use Map (FLUM) is a visual representation of the anticipated future zoning designation and permitted uses of currently undeveloped tracts of Land within the City limits. This document is a primary tool of city planners and engineers as the city develops and grows. The future land use map should not be confused with the current zoning map.
• 2013 Comprehensive City Plan
  • This document, the result of collaboration between the City of Robins and the East Central Iowa Council of Governments (ECICOG), contains essential information for future planning efforts within the city. It provides reference and guidance for continued planning and development in order to manage growth and make efficient use of the city’s resources.
• Trails Map
  • Provides a visual representation of the city’s comprehensive plan as Robins grows and develops for the installation of sidewalks, bike lanes and bike/pedestrian trails by developers to result in a more connected, safer city.
• Street Map
  • Provides a visual representation of the city’s comprehensive plan as Robins grows and develops for the extension and expansion of existing streets and the installation of additional streets.
• SFGO Goals and Strategy Outline
  • The City of Robins has developed a Strategic Future Growth Outline in response to the 2019 “Looking to the future” community survey. This outline identifies goals in four major areas:
    • Infrastructure
    • Economic Development
    • City Services
    • Community Identity/Engagement

  • This document was created by the Corridor MPO and abridged to include only information pertaining to the City of Robins phase of the overall project. it contains project background, design information as well as conceptual project plans. The original document in its entirety may be found Here.
• City of Robins Urban Revitalization Plan
• City of Robins Comprehensive Infrastructure Plan
  • A valuable tool developed to aid the City in strategizing how to address current infrastructure needs, accommodate growth & new development and prepare fiscal year budgets. This plan addresses four main infrastructure systems: Water Distribution, Storm water Management, Wastewater Collection and Transportation Network.
